Labor protection articles refer to defensive equipment necessary for the protection of workers' personal safety and health in the production process, which plays a very important role in reducing occupational hazards.
Labor protection articles are divided into nine categories according to the part of protection:
(1) Head protection. It is used to protect the head, prevent impact, crush injury, prevent material spatter, dust and so on. Mainly glass fiber reinforced plastic, plastic, rubber, glass, adhesive paper, cold and bamboo rattan hard hat and dust cap, impact mask, etc.
(2) Respiratory protective gear. It is an important protective product to prevent pneumoconiosis and occupational diseases. According to the use of dust, gas, support three categories, according to the principle of action into filter type, isolation type two categories.
(3) Eye protection equipment. It is used to protect the eyes and face of operators and prevent external injury. It is divided into welding eye protection equipment, furnace eye protection equipment, anti-impact eye protection equipment, microwave protection equipment, laser protection goggles and anti-X-ray, anti-chemical, dustproof and other eye protection equipment.
(4) Hearing protection equipment. Hearing protection should be used when working in an environment above 90dB(A) for A long time or 115dB(A) for A short time. It has three types of ear plugs, ear muffs and helmet.
(5) Protective shoes. Used to protect the feet from injury. At present, the main products are anti-smashing, insulation, anti-static, acid and alkali resistance, oil resistance, anti-skid shoes and so on.
(6) Protective gloves. Used for hand protection, mainly acid and alkali resistant gloves, electrical insulation sleeve, welding gloves, anti-X-ray gloves, asbestos gloves, nitrile gloves, etc.
(7) Protective clothing. Used to protect workers from physical and chemical factors in the working environment. Protective clothing can be divided into special protective clothing and general working clothing.
(8) Fall protection gear. Used to prevent falling accidents. There are mainly seat belts, safety ropes and safety nets.
(9) Skin care products. For protection of exposed skin. It's for skin care and detergent.
At present in each industry, labor protection articles are must be equipped. According to the actual use, should be replaced by time. In the process of issuing, it should be issued separately according to different types of work and keep a ledger.
